Zero Gravity was the winner of the Finnish Meteorological Institute special prize, one year worth of computing power from ESA BIC hosted by Ultrahack. The prototype use high resolution satellite data to understand land usage in a given area and evaluate/predict green corridors that enables dispersal movement of plants and animals within city areas. Green corridors are crucial to maintain uninterrupted green spaces network as they connect green areas to their natural state as reservoirs of biodiversity.
