Zero Gravity develops digital solutions by utilising data from satellite and drone footage acquired this summer. The aim is to understand vegetation changes that has happed on Vallisaari and Vasikkasaari in the last five years as well as understand seasonal vegetation decay and if there is vegetation decay due to tourists visiting Vallisaari. Vallisaari was closed for tourists until May 2016. Key data sources that were used for the project is data from Copernicus sentinels as well as proprietary high-resolution satellite data. Also, Zero Gravity performed drone flights on Vallisaari and Vasikkasaari during summer months to monitor islands vegetation state.
